Hello All,
I wanted to take some time to introduce myself. My name is Darcel. I am a 40 year old wife and mother. I did not go natural on purpose, I just got tired of perming my hair for no real reason. I would only get a perm maybe every 3 or 4 months, which was a waste of money really…. So after my wedding in 2010 I got my hair cut (again) and didn’t love it so I decided to let my hair grow out (again)…. and the natural process began….. I got braids a couple of times and then I got a sew in weave…. i loved it and repeated that process a few times. Well ladies you all know that weaves are HOT!!! and I live in North Carolina, so in June of 2012 my husband and I were at an outdoor Jazz concert and needless to say Mama was not happy… LOL… the next day that weave was history!!!!! And so started a new relationship with my hair!!!!!!
